BMW i8 Hybrid Supercar – Exclusive videos of the winter testing in Scandinavia

Exclusive footage of BMW i8 leaked on YouTube. Spy shots of BMW’s hybrid supercar showing winter testing undertaken in Scandinavia. BMW i8 look gorgeous while sliding down the frozen roads and snowy patches.

Let me remind you of few specs. BMW i8 is powered by a three-cylinder diesel engine and two electric motors, combining for a 0-100km/h in only 4.8 seconds – enough to get the main role in the new Mission Impossible movie. On the other side average fuel consumption of 3.76 litres/100km and electric-only range of 50km are enough to be featured in the TreeHugger blog.

The BMW i8 hybrid supercar is ready for sale in 2013 and come out just after i3 city car. Rumors say diesel engine will be replaced by petrol in order to reach and appeal to broader audience. Anyway, gorgeous example of the BMW’s futuristic engineering available today…
