Bankrupted manufacturer of the British sport cars Bristol, has been acquired by Kamkorp Autokraft. Kamkorp is owner of another electric sport car company – Frazer-Nash. we recently reported about their amazing electric supercar Namir.
Will we see Bristol reborn as a manufacturer of electric sport cars? Kamkorp have long history of involvement in sport cars and collaboration on many electric vehicles. for the example their section Frazer-Nash Research provided electric vehicles for the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Malaysia, the 2000 Sydney Olympics and 2004 Athens Olympics. And their Namir is just gorgeous – and can accelerate to 100 km/n in only 3.5 seconds.
William Chia, director of operations for the Frazer-Nash group, said: “Bristol Cars is a British institution and an important part of our national motoring heritage. Over the next few months, we will start to reveal the details of our plans to combine Bristol Cars’ tradition and iconic marque with Frazer-Nash’s pioneering technology to showcase our cutting-edge electric and range-extended powertrains.”
We expect a lot – at the most another gorgeous sport car on the market. Pure British bred.
