Australians joined to race in electric cars by producing amazing Varley evR450. CAr was presented at the Third Annual Australian Electric Vehicle Conference. 125 year-old Australian company – Varley – specializing in aerospace, defense and electric vehicles created US$200,000 Ferrari style sport car named Varley evR450.
Varley evR450 winn have two Ultramotive CARBON motors, each with a peak power rating of 150kW and 522 Nm of torque and producing continuous power of 58 kW (122 Nm).
Varley evR450 will rush from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and be electronically-limited to topp speed of 200 km/h. The Varley evR450 will have range of 150 km (93.21 miles) that can be doubled with optional, second lithium-ion battery pack. The Varley evR450 is powered by Lithium Ion cells in a 24Kwh pack. Car can eb charged in ordinary wall plug, so you don’t have to buy any additional equipment (expect maybe extension cord with Australian standard plug). The Varley evR450 inverters are described as “state of the art”, coming off the back of years of development in the electric solar heavy machinery and racing industry.
This amazing electric sport car is truly proof that electric technology is the future of motoring industry. Varley evR450 is gorgeous looking and fast as hell. Say no more. Car is planned to be on the Australian roads in only a few short months. Good on Aussies!
