We love  the Le Mans 24 Hours race. Nothing more exciting then cars racing to prove their speed, reliability and endurance. Now things will get spiced with another exciting entry – electric racer by Nissan.

Today we present you  the Nissan ZEOD RC, electric race car that will raech spped over 300 km/h in that short time, that as per Nissan claims it will be the fastest eletric car ever.  The car will race under the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) “Garage 56” entry – wich is additional spot on the grid for vehicles that showcase new and innovative technology. There was number of exciting environment friendly cars at Le Mans 24 Hours race in the past, including our favorite Gumpert Apollo.

“Nissan has become a global leader in the development of zero emission automotive technology, and the Nissan ZEOD RC will allow us to further develop those capabilities using the toughest endurance race in the world as a mobile test bed to test the potential of our planned LM P1 power train,” said Andy Palmer, Executive Vice President and Executive Committee member at Nissan Motor Company Limited.

We warmly welcome this entry by Nissan and can’t wait to see the Nissan ZEOD RC at the Le Mans 24 Hours race. Eco-friendly excitement.
