Honda revving with new NSX – reborn as a hybrid supercar

According to Honda’s President Takanobu Ito soon we’ll see new supercar – powreed by hybrid engine. Nothing less than reborn legendary Honda NSX.

In Japan’s Super GT championship, Honda won the championship last year with the HSV-010 GT coupe, pictured above, which is prototype and most likely base for the new road legal sport car.

Hybrid Honda NSX would compete with Audi R8 and Lexus LFA, but at the same time appeal to new generation as real green supercar. Price-wise, close to $500,000 could be expected with possible production not before 2014.

Looking at images of Honda’s HSV-010 GT coupe, this will be damn beautiful hybrid. It was time for a Honda to bring one sport super-beauty to the road.
