RUF EV is on the streets – Electric sport car based on the Porsche 911
Famous German performance car manufacturer, RUF Automobile GmbH, announced today that testing three electric-powered prototypes based on the Porsche 911. The three electric 911 sports cars are field test for EV that should hit streets soon. The first ten eRUF electric sport cars, build together with Siemens AG, will be on sale in the first half of 2011.
I really looking forward to see electric RUF CTR. If you didn’t see this model earlier visit RUF website and scare yourself. Can you imagine that on rapid electric power? Oh, yes. RUF is famous for rebuilding Porsche cars with their own parts. As they use their own parts and tune vehicles independently, RUF is accepted as car manufacturer, not tuner. So this will be the real RUF EV9, if I can name it. Porsche better hurry up and catch with their version of electric 911.
