Electric sport car from the German corner – Artega SE revealed on the 2011 Geneva Motor Show
New beautiful electric sport car is revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show – Artega SE. Artega SE plug-in electric sport car is build my German sport car manufacturer Artega Motors.
Sporty sculptured EV coupe is powered by two electric motors on the rear axle with a total output of 280kW (380 horsepower). Each Artega SE motor control one of the rear wheels. Together with lightweight materials and reduced weight this is a guarantee for a exciting ride. Transmition will be DSG borrowed form WV.
The Artega SE accelerates from 0 – 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Speed is estimated on over 155mph. A 37kWh lithium ion polymer battery pack provides a claimed New European Driving Cycle range of 300km, with a minimum of 200km under ‘normal driving conditions’ (What is normal for sport car?).
German Artega Motors has capacity to build up to 500 of the Artega SE electric sports car a year, at a cost of US$195,000. Car will be sold initially in Europe. Beautiful car, great specifications, but bit pricey?
