VIDEO: Jay Leno test driving Jaguar C-X75

As we mentioned in our post a few days ago, Jay Leno recently had a chance to take for a spin new Jaguar C-X75, an electric-powered sports car concept that is on display at the Los Angeles auto show. In this video he also shared opinion with Ian Callum, design who created amazing C-X75.

Car was presented for a first time at the Paris Motor Show in late September. Jaguar C-X75 is powered by electric motors and lithium ion batteries. It can run on electricity alone for about 68 miles and has a pair of small gas turbines that will recharge the batteries or send power directly to the four electric motors that drive each wheel. This combination can blast 778 horsepower to all four wheels. This is enough for staggering number of 0-100 in 3.4 seconds and top speed of 205 mph. Of course Leno didn’t try to check this statement. But still I am sure it was amazing driving experience…
